Course Overview

Successful CFOs are not assessed by their technical ability because mastery of the technical aspect of finance is a given. Those that quickly advance their career are the ones with the ability to lead and operate in areas where there is no right or wrong answer.

The CFO leadership Academy Program is organized by MAT Abacus Business School in partnership with the Institute of certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). It was designed with the objective of equipping the CFOs with the requisite leadership skills to enable them adapt to the strategic shifts in the environment.

Customized CFO Leadership Curriculum

This program was developed in consultation with leading CFOs, CEOs and senior executives in leadership practice who will participate in panel discussions and selection of program sessions and receptions.

Action Learning Projects for Personal Growth

The program focuses on addressing an applied workplace issue. This may range from fixing an organizational problem or challenge, such as coming up with innovative solutions for improving productivity or stakeholder satisfaction.
